I am a graphic designer with experience across print, digital, brand identity, packaging, editorial, photography and illustration, as well as curiosity in video, 3D modelling, e-commerce and social media content creation and management.
As I worked for 10 years in the editorial market of magazines for the two biggest publishers in Brazil, designing printed and digital magazines, I have wide experience in visual journalism, illustration, photography, data visualization and infographics.
My experience in publishing, working with journalists and editors, has given me a keen sense of treating information as raw material that can be enhanced with design. I am very committed to the projects that I do.
At the beginning of 2017, my business partners and I created a children’s fashion brand where we design prints for apparel and creative products with the rock ‘n roll theme (letsrockbaby.com.br). For that, I do e-commerce management, marketing and social media management, as well as creative direction and graphic design.
Since March 2018, I’ve been living in Sydney and currently I work home-based as a freelance designer for Australian and Brazilian companies.
Since 2019, I have been working as a casual graphic designer for The University of Sydney. As part of the Marketing & Communications team, I am responsible to design 2 annual issues of Sydney Alumni Magazine (SAM) as well as working on digital and printed projects.
More recently, I have been also working for Sky News Australia channel as a casual designer taking part in several projects like branded campaigns, printed advertisements, key art concepts for documentaries and TV studio backgrounds.

I worked as a full-time graphic designer being part of the Marketing and Communications team of The University of Sydney, based on the Darlington campus, from September 2019 to March 2020. Over this period, I worked under the Usyd brand guidelines, designing digital content like ads and banners for several faculties and also collateral material for events and campaigns. Furthermore, I was responsible for designing issues 10 and 11 of Sydney Alumni Magazine (SAM). SAM links a worldwide alumni community of the University of Sydney, exploring the achievements of its alumni and stories of leading University research. In this project, I was able to have contact with the Usyd environment and read and design some remarkable stories from its former students and researchers.
I also had the opportunity to work on the 2021 Undergraduates Guides, designing their covers and internal pages, and creating a new visual concept in order to refresh them. I aimed to create and deliver out-of-the-box designs in order to bring some refresh to its brand.
Currently, I have been working as a freelance graphic designer, developing printed projects as
Undergraduate Guides (issues 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024), brochures as well as regular issues of SAM magazine (issues 10 to 17).

I am the brand’s creator and one of the company’s business partners. Let’s Rock Baby is a Brazilian apparel brand that creates, designs and manufactures clothes for babies and kids with rock & roll as the theme. The company sells on the Internet on its own website and on several Brazilian online marketplaces, including amazon.com.br. In this enterprise, I am responsible for the creative art direction, print designs, website and social media management. My main achievement was to create the whole brand concept from sketch to life, designing the brand, products, prints, packaging, website and overall visual identity.

As a remote graphic designer for Endeavour Tools, I had the privilege of working on various projects aimed at refreshing the company’s visual identity. Endeavour Tools is a Melbourne-based wholesaler that specializes in importing and distributing high-quality tools. One of my key contributions was designing a new packaging concept that helped establish consistency across the product range. Additionally, I was responsible for the overall design of the promotional catalogue, which was printed and distributed every three months to 90,000 tool distributors in Australia and New Zealand.

I worked for 7 years at Editora Globo, the second-biggest magazine publisher in Brazil. I started as a Senior Graphic Designer at Galileu Magazine and over the years I was promoted to the Art Editor position, and finally, in 2012, I became the Creative Art Director of Galileu. Galileu magazine is a well-known science magazine in Brazil. It has been published for more than almost 30 years. During the period that I worked there (2008 – 2015), I took part in many rebrandings and redesigns in order to reposition it on the market as well as drive sales. One of my greatest achievements is that I have designed the bestseller cover in Galileu’s history: “Turbine Sua Memória” (Turbocharge your Memory) where I created an iconic image of a metallic brain with exhaust pipes smoking to illustrate it. Besides that, I received an award for the Cover of The Year of Associação Nacional dos Editores de Revistas (National Magazines’ Editors Association) with the cover “Estamos Nus” (We are Naked), where I invited a cycling activist to pose naked on the cover. The cover story presented bikers’ issues in big cities and we illustrate their feeling of nudity among heavy traffic in a metropolis like São Paulo. Also, my team and I received two awards for best-printed infographics in the Spanish infographic award Malofiej.

I worked as a Trainee Graphic Designer at Saúde Magazine (Health Magazine) during the well-known Curso Abril de Jornalismo (Abril Course of Journalism). In this course, young journalists, photographers, video makers and graphic designers worked together for two months developing new projects for some chosen brands of Editora Abril and taking classes on many topics of the editorial industry. My team and I developed the concept of a new app for Saúde Magazine for tracking the health care of its target customer. Besides that, we redesigned a new homepage for Saúde’s website.

Sou designer gráfico e diretor de arte com larga experiência no mercado brasileiro. Tenho conhecimento em design editorial, packaging design, branding, fotografia e ilustração, além de ter curiosidade em vídeo e animação.
Por ter trabalhado bastante tempo no mercado editorial, nas duas maiores editoras de revistas do Brasil (Editora Globo e Editora Abril), fazendo design de revistas impressas e digitais, tenho experiência em jornalismo visual, ilustração, fotografia, visualização de dados, infografia e edição de informação.
Minha experiência no mercado editorial, trabalhando em parceria com editores e jornalistas, me deu um senso apurado em tratar a informação como uma matéria prima que pode ser melhorada com design. Sou bastante comprometido com os projetos dos quais participo. Gosto de contemplar o produto final do meu trabalho e ter o sentimento de missão cumprida quando um trabalho chega ao fim.
No início de 2017, criei uma marca de roupas infantis para a qual, juntamente com meus sócios, desenvolvo estampas e produtos criativos com a temática rock and roll para bebês e crianças. Nesse projeto faço gestão de e-commerce, marketing digital, gerenciamento de mídias sociais, além de fazer a direção criativa e design de estampas e coleções de produtos.
Em março de 2018 mudei para Sydney, Austrália, a fim de buscar novas experiências em minha vida e na minha carreira profissional, além de melhorar minhas habilidades com a língua inglesa. Desde então tenho trabalhado como designer freelancer, desenvolvendo projetos para empresas Australianas e Brasileiras.
Desde setembro de 2019 tenho trabalhado para o departamento de comunicação e marketing da Universidade de Sydney desenvolvendo guias de graduação, brochuras, campanhas digitais e impressas além de ser responsável pela edição da arte da revista SAM (Sydney Alumni Magazine). A SAM é focada em contar as histórias de pesquisadores, professores e ex-alunos da Universidade de Sydney sob ponto de vista de seus perfis, histórias e projetos. Ela é uma revista de ciência e tecnologia ancorada em perfis de pessoas relevantes para o meio científico e para a sociedade, sendo distribuída semestralmente para 155 mil membros da comunidade acadêmica e ex-alunos.
Mais recentemente, desde setembro de 2020, tenho trabalhado para o canal de TV por assinatura Sky News Austrália. Como a Globo News no Brasil, a Sky News é um canal dedicado 24h por dia a notícias, sendo o primeiro canal exclusivo para notícias da Austrália. Para a Sky News tenho trabalhado com anúncios impressos e conceitos gráficos para documentários e campanhas institucionais, além de desenvolver elemento gráficos para compor o fundo dos programas de notícias.
Considero a Austrália um país multicultural extremamente receptivo e fácil de se viver.
